Just a quick post.

Hi there everyone! I just wanted to do a quick update to let you all know that I am going to be creating a new blog that will basically have a little bit of everything in it. My relationship, my beliefs, my life, makeup, just basically everything. I think it will be easier to do it that way than to have two blogs running or possibly three. I also think that way I will post more because it can be about anything in general instead of just one topic. Once I create it (which will be in the next few days) I will link it on this blog. That way anyone who is following me on here that might be interested in still following me can. I will leave this blog up for a week to give everyone time and then I will take it down and post only on my new blog. Thank you to everyone who has supported and followed me I really do appreciate it. It is sad to let both of my blogs go but I am creating a new and better blog so it will be all worth it in the end. Thank you all so much. Much love to you all.

Remember you don’t need anything to be beautiful, just be yourself. ❤

Hello! Sorry I’ve been gone!

Well hello everyone! I am so sorry I haven’t done any posts in so long. I just got busy with life. The love of my life and I finally got married and it’s just been wonderful.

Anyways I just wanted to post this little update and let everyone know that makeup is still a passion and I plan on starting up my blog again and trying to post regularly. I miss doing my posts and I feel bad not doing them for so long. I have quite a few things I would like to review as well so this should be awesome! Only problem is I have to find my camera….whoops! Haha. But I will! And as soon as I do new posts will start arriving. 🙂

Just wanted to let everyone know! Hope to see some old followers and gain more! Thanks so much everyone!

Much love to you all. And remember, you don’t need anything  to be beautiful, just be yourself. ❤

Sephora by OPI Glimmer Wonderland Eighteen Piece Mini Nail Colour Set! Also swatch/ review of first color I wore!

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven’t blogged in a while, I kept meaning to then I’d get distracted haha. Anyways, I’m a little late on this seeing as I received this product almost two weeks ago but I finally got my Glimmer Wonderland Eighteen Piece Mini Nail Colour Set from Sephora by OPI! I absolutely love it! It has so many colors and it’s just awesome! I’m going to upload a few pictures of it (don’t mind the missing polish from it, it’s the one I had painted my nails with so I kept it out to take pictures) and some pictures of the first color I used which was the color “Already Famous”.  I also received my Sephora by OPI 3-in-1 base, top, and strengthener. I have to say, I’ve used it on every nail application since getting it and I adore it! So anyways, on to the pictures and reviews!

Photo of nail polish set without flash.

Nail Polish set with flash.

Now for a what seems like a lot of photos in a row but it’s really just different shots of the nails and then the bottle shots of both the polish and my base/top/strengthener. So here we go!

Photo of the bottle for the “Already Famous” polish with no flash.

Photo of the bottle for the “Already Famous” polish with flash.

(I could not show a photo of the name on the bottle like usual because they are minis and the name is not on the bottom of the bottle the names are in front of the spot the polishes are in on the front of the box.)

Phew! Now we are done with all the photos! It’s only because I was showing THREE different things instead of my usual ONE. Ok so onto the reviews!

Sephora by OPI Glimmer Wonderland Eighteen Piece Mini Nail Colour Set:

How much is it? : $48.00 plus tax and shipping.

Where to buy? : Sephora Online or In your Sephora store if they still have it in. (Mine did not).

Well as far as I can tell the products are amazing. I’ve used three colors (other two reviews will go up next) and I’ve loved all three. They apply nicely and they last one week or more. As far as the mini size, they are small but I NEVER go through an entire bottle of nail polish before it’s not very good anymore anyways so to me the minis are a better purchase. My I guess only two complaints about them would be 1. The names aren’t on the bottom side so you have to keep the box or write them down, which isn’t a huge problem it’s just a slight inconvenience. 2. The brushes are small so while it DOES have a smooth application you have to be more careful and re-dip your brush a little more often. Also people with larger fingers may have difficulty holding the brush handle.

So in conclusion on the set:

Am I happy with my purchase? Absolutely, one of my best polish purchases yet.

Would I buy sets like this again? Without a doubt!

Do I like the color selection? I absolutely do, I think this set has a great amount of colors and varieties to choose from that would go with any mood or season.

Are they long lasting and high quality? I honestly feel that they are. I really have enjoy the ones I’ve used so far. I definitely recommend it!

Overall Grade: A+

Sephora by OPI nail colour in “Already Famous” :

(to purchase this alone in the full size bottle it is $9.50 at Sephora)

Ahh this polish! I love love love this color! When I found this set online and looked at the colors this is one of the ones I was most excited about, and when it arrived it just looked so amazing it was the first one I had to try. I love it, it had great application and oh my how it lasted quite a while!  Over a week for me and that’s a HUGE accomplishment with NO touch ups! I was amazed. I don’t have any negative comments on this polish.

So in conclusion:

Am I happy with this polish? Absolutely, one of my absolute favorites so far.

Would I buy this polish separately once I run out? Yes I would.

Is this color long lasting and high quality? I can’t express enough how good the quality of this polish is and how impressed I am with the staying power! It’s great! It’s a versatile wonderful polish too. Just so pretty!

Overall Grade: A+

Sephora by OPI 3-in-1 Base, Top, and Strengthener:

How much is it? : $14.00

Where to buy? : Sephora Online and Sephora stores.

This product is amazing! It goes down great as a base, shines and protects beautifully as a top coat and it really has strengthened my nails! I’m really impressed with this product and it really helps the color last longer. Again no negative comments on this product either. I know that seems impossible but I am all in all just completely happy with this whole lot!

So in conclusion:

Am I happy with my purchase? Absolutely!

Would I purchase this again? I most definitely will, even if I find a better top coat I still intend on using this as my go-to base because of the strengthening agent.

Does it do the job it claims to do? So far in my experience it absolutely has. I highly recommend it.

Overall Grade: A+

So, honestly I am overall extremely happy with these purchases and I am so happy with the products it’s ridiculous. I just can’t say enough good things. I hope this is helpful and I hope you’ve all enjoyed this post. I promise I’m going to start posting more frequently! Alright everyone, have a wonderful night and day and remember, you don’t need anything to be beautiful, just be yourself. ❤

Finally purchased my first MAC products!

Hello everyone! So a couple days ago I made my first (nicely sized) MAC purchase! I am so excited and so in love with the products. I’ve been playing with them ever since and created a great look today which I will put up later both on my blog here and my beautylish account. But I decided to put some pictures up and list all the products I purchased and then do a few swatches. The lighting on those aren’t the best but I think they get the point across. I also did all of the swatches with flash on because natural light just was too dark for you to see the color accurately. All pictures are with flash on except for two of them because the product container was too bright with the flash and the name could not be displayed properly. But anyways, onto the good stuff!

First, all products picture. I will list products from left to right below the photo.

Ok, starting from the Left as well as top to bottom :
MAC Dame Satin Powder Blush, MAC Dollymix Sheertone Shimmer Blush, MAC Eyeshadow in Shroom (Satin), MAC Eyeshadow in Sable (Velvet/Frost), MAC Eyeshadow in Swish (Frost), MAC Eyeshadow Nocturnelle (Frost). Now From left to right, minus the MAC Lip Conditioner Stick SPF 15 which is above all the Lipglosses : MAC Haute and Naughty Lash Mascara in Black, MAC Tinted Lipglass in Oyster Girl, MAC Tinted (Frost) Lipglass in Nymphette, MAC Tinted Lipglass in Viva Glam V, MAC Tinted Lipglass in Comfort and Joy, MAC Lipstick in Frou (Glaze), MAC Lipstick in Jubilee (Lustre), MAC Lipstick in Politely Pink (Lustre) and MAC Lipstick in High Strung (Frost).

Now here’s a photo of the swatches.

Swatches for the blush, eyeshadow, lipglass, and lipsticks. All swatched on either my arm or my hand.

Now photo of the Mascara (not swatched just product photo) as well as the Lip conditioner.

MAC Haute and Naughty Lash Mascara in Black.

MAC Lip Conditioner Stick SPF 15.

*I wanted to purchase this in the pot but they were sold out at the MAC outlet in my local mall. I think the stick in my personal opinion works super good though too so if you can’t find the pot I would recommend the stick.

Now I’m going to upload a photo (glasses on and off) of the look I created today with some of my new products.

List of products used to create this look will be in my soon to be created blog post about this makeup look. Unless requested before hand.

So there you have it! All my new MAC products! Ahhh soo happy! And for those of you wondering why I’m making this at almost 5 in the morning it’s because I had a really late nap today lol. But I hope you all enjoy this post and have a wonderful day. Remember, you don’t need anything to be beautiful, just be yourself! ❤

Another Sinful Colors Review with a little China Glaze Crackle! (just a little)

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven’t blogged in a bit.  Just getting over the holidays and finally have the time. I’m going to have a few posts, probably all up by either tonight or the end of tomorrow. But this one is a review and  a post for ANOTHER Sinful Colors Nail Polish review as well as some China Glaze Crackle that I put over top the Sinful Colors on just my two ring fingers.  So here we go!

First photo is of the bottle. The shade is “Innocent” as you’ll see in the next photo.

Shade 944 Innocent.

This is how it looks on my nails with China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat, Two coats of the Sinful Colors, China Glaze Cracked in Broken hearted on top of my ring finger and then China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.

Here’s a slightly farther away photo, you’ll have to forgive for the messiness of my nails in the pictures. I just painted them before the photos were taken so they aren’t cleaned up.

Now for the China Glaze photos.

This is China Glaze CRACKLE Glaze in Broken Hearted. I did the crackle for a subscriber who asked in previous post comments if I could do a review on Cracked or something similar and this is all I have.

China Glaze CRACKLE Glaze in shade 982 Broken Hearted.

Up close of the CRACKLE on my left hand ring finger.

Up close of CRACKLE on my right hand ring finger.

Sorry for all the photos but I thought I should show you guys everything lol. Also like I said below a photo above, please forgive me for the messiness of my nails, I hadn’t cleaned them up yet.

So I’m going to review the polish separately and then tell you my opinion on them together at the end.

So first,

Sinful Colors Professional in shade Innocent:

Easy application? Yes. One of the easier of the sinful nail polishes I have, it just glides on so nicely.

1 or 2 coats? It depends on how you like your polish, I always do 2 coats but this one is pretty opaque with one coat, it’s a non-shimmery matte colored glossy polish, so one coat looks good but I prefer it just a little more intense with 2.

Fast drying? Sort of, it takes a minute or two longer than a typical fast drying polish but that’s because it’s a bit thicker.

Long-wear? I just applied it tonight so I’m not sure yet, but I’m going to say it’s the same as all Sinful colors and lasts at least a week before chipping. If it chips before hand I will update.

Overall : I think it’s a beautiful color when paired with a base coat and top coat. As well of two coats of polish. It’s a unique and fun color. I would recommend this to anyone who is not afraid to try unusual colors. I really enjoy this color and this brand, one of the best drugstore polishes in my opinion, and one of the cheapest so it’s a win win.
My overall grade is : A+

Now,

China Glaze CRACKLE Glaze Nail Lacquer in shade Broken Hearted:

Easy Application? Yes, as with all crackle type products you want make sure you apply evenly but a little faster since it does dry very quickly.

1 or 2 coats? With Crackle type products in my opinion you should only apply one coat. Two coats would mess up the effects.

Fast Drying? Yes, its a very fast drying effects polish.

Long-wear? Yes it is, I have worn this before and it lasts a week or more.

Overall : I think China Glaze Crackle is amazing and as long as you apply a shiny top coat it will look beautiful. It’s a very nice medium/bright raspberry like pink to me and it’s gorgeous! I think it’s a great product for making your nails unique and fun. It’s a little on the pricier side at around $8.00 and can be purchased at Ultas or Sally Beauty Supplies but it’s worth the money in my opinion. I love all China Glaze products. So I would highly recommend this product as well.

My overall grade is : A+

So my overall opinion of them combined is a wonderful one! I think these two colors a particularly unique together and I think it looks great! Both the products are A+ in my book so I think combining them is just a win win.

So I hope this review was helpful and you enjoyed it and the look I created on my nails. I know this was a lengthier review and I apologize, I just wanted to cover everything. But,  I hope you all have a wonderful night and remember, you don’t need anything to be beautiful, just be yourself. ❤

Holiday Nails and Review! (Sorry I’m a few days late…)

Hello everyone! This is just a quick  review of the nail polish I wore for Christmas as well as photos. By the way I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas! Alright so here we go.

O.P.I. “It’s My Year” Nail Lacquer

2nd Look on my hand. Also used China Glaze Fast Forward Top coat.

Super Up-Close Shot of my Nails.

Photo of Bottle which is again O.P.I. Nail Lacquer in “It’s My Time”

Photo of the name.

Alright, so let me just say I LOVE the color and the look of this nail polish. I am pleased with the finish as well.  I didn’t use a base coat this time which probably wasn’t my best choice but I was still pleased with the result and I finished it off with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.

Now my BIG complaint is probably due to my lack of base or adhesion coat but still, my complaint is that I’ve had the polish on since Saturday and I’ve already had to touch up and re-apply everyday. I am getting continuous chipping. In large chunks too, not just small ones. So my grade will go down slightly for this but it may be just because I didn’t use a base. If anyone has used this polish and has or has not experienced this problem I’d love to know in the comments.

Other than that problem I love the polish. It goes on nice and even and looks beautiful. I think it’s a wonderful polish for the holidays!

So in conclusion:

Would I purchase this product again? : Yes I would I think it’s beautiful for the holidays.

Does the product last like it should? : Well from my experience not really, but I will have to try again with a base coat to better justify this answer.

Is it worth the price? : Well the champagne like rosey gold shimmer is amazing and worth having in your collection regardless and a little chipping can be fixed if you really love it so if you love the color then yes. It’s around 5-7  dollars depending on where you go but it’s worth it in my opinion.

Overall Grade : B

Well Thanks everyone for reading and I hope you enjoy this review! Have  a wonderful night and remember everyone, you don’t need anything to be beautiful, just be yourself. ❤

A Fun Holiday Look!

Hello everyone! I’m going to show you a fun bluey silver holiday look that I did today.  I cut and pasted my eyes and lips into one big picture because I had too many pictures to upload, as well as I did not do any foundation or contouring or blush so I didn’t want to make it seem like the full look was there when it was only eyes and lips. At request I can upload a full photo of my face with this look but again it’s just eyes and lips and not full look. So here’s the photo and underneath I will list all products used. After the holidays I will make a tutorial on the look (unless someone requests one before hand) that way everyone can re-create this next year. So I hope you enjoy! 🙂

Another Review of Sinful Colors Nail Polish!

Hello everyone! I know I haven’t posted since Monday and I’m sorry. I’ve just been busy. But anyways, I’m going to do a review of the Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish in the shade Let’s Talk for this post and I will put up some pictures. So here we go, hope you enjoy! 🙂

First picture of the bottle.

At first glance it’s such a beautiful color! A very vibrant purple! It wears just as beautifully as long as you put two coats. (I also put China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat on top of my nails and before any polish I use China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat)

Next, a photo of the shade name.

“Let’s Talk” is a very creative name to me and is fitting to this shade.

Now on to the pictures on my fingernails, forgive me for how messy it looks, I didn’t get the chance to clean them up.

Now I think the shade on the nails is beautiful and I just painted them tonight so we will see if it wears as well as the matte shade I wore previously by Sinful Colors. This shade is a shiny non-matte shade so it may not last as long or longer. What I did notice is the formula was very drippy and it was very easy to get too much on your brush even if you did wipe some off in the jar rim before polish. So after accidentally getting too much on a couple nails they would not dry or it would smudge very easily with the softest of touches and I’d have to re-do the nail. I had to redo 4 nails total. One nail had to be re-done twice. That could be user fault (lol) or just the consistency of the polish but either way when painting your nails in this shade just be careful not to get too much on the brush and be careful not to bump anything. Lol. In a week I will update on how it lasted but for now I’d say the shade is beautiful and it looks great on nails. While a little tricky to get right it’s worth it.

So,

What is it? Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish in the shade Let’s Talk  (929)

Where can you buy it? Walgreens is where I purchased mine but I’m sure you could find them at any drugstore.

Price? I paid 1.99 plus tax for mine. Well worth the money I say!

Grade: B-

Well that’s all for now! Hope you all enjoyed this and you all have a wonderful night. Goodnight world, and remember, you don’t need anything to be beautiful, just be yourself. ❤
